It was sad to hear the artist and creator of Asterix and Obelix, Albert Uderzo, died today. My early comic book influences while growing up were the Smurfs and Asterix. I read so many Asterix comics/books in my School libary over and over again and was surprised a few years ago the comics were still being published.
